Graham's presentation on Podcasting & Bee`s presentation on blogging

On February 4th, 2007 at 17:00 GMT, Graham Stanley gave a presentation on Podcasting:

graham

Thank you very much, Graham,  for your wonderful presentation on podcasting today.

Your presentation introduces a lot of useful information and it is very stimulating!

Thank you also for giving us detailed instructions on how to use the tools you recommended for podcasting.

 We have learned a lot from you and are motivated to use podcasting for our classes!

================================================================

On  Monday, Jan 29 at 21 GMT we got together at the Alado Webheads room to listen to our dear friend and colleague Barbara (Bee) Dieu. Bee shared with us her expertise in blogging.

As usual in Bee's presentations, participants got valuable information about blogging, and were able to interact in the text chat as well as with voice, asking questions to which Bee wisely had a reply for

On this screenshot, of one of the PPT slides, we can see a summary of the benefits we can get with blogging:

If you were there at Alado, you know that there were many challenges to be dealt with. Everyone worked together to solve the problems. Andy Pincon was indispensable! We were all finally able to enjoy Bee's presentation. It could also serve as a reminder to us all: when we teach with technology, sometimes things don't work as we had planned. We have to have a Plan B, and we have to relax and go with the flow. Getting upset serves no purpose. Eventually, it all worked out. Thanks to Bee for an excellent presentation!

I really enjoyed Bee's presentation and learned so much from listening to her and interacting with everyone at Alado. My favorite quotes from the presentation are "Learning is essentially about change" and "Use the right tool for the trade"! Thanks, Bee!
