Jeff and Dave on Webcasting

Today, we had Jeff Lebow and Dave Cormier from Worldbridges and EdtechTalk present live for us from a Skypecast and the Webheads in Action chat room . The presention was brilliantly seasoned with desktop sharing using Yugma

We hope you enjoyed the session as much as we did :-) It is impossible not to get hooked to webcasting after listening to Jeff and Dave

If you fell for webcasting, Jeff is moderating the Webcast Academy EVO session!

Listen to the webcast, read the chatlog, and look at some screenshots taken during the presentation at:

Once again we would like to thank Jeff and Dave for this delightful session!

I am sure Jeff and Dave would like to read your comments ;-)

Hi there,

I'd like to thank you all for the most fantastic Sunday morning (noon really) at today's webcast. It was my first time at Skype and the Webhead's Chat Room. I knew it was going to be a really challenging experience, so I showed up at the Chat Room about 40 minutes in advance to avoid having any problems. Luckily, Jeff was there to welcome me and, immediately, lots of online friends started to arrive. As a result, everything ran smoothly and before I realized I had made a brief "live" presentation before the EVO community! Unfortunately, it was a bit too early so it's not in the webcast, but I will always remember the thrill and excitement I felt.

I look forward to taking part in future events and soon be able to integrate this into my classes. As I always say, even if I didn't know these tools and their potential when I started college, I feel they are exactly the reasom why I became an EFL teacher.

Hugs,

Carla R.

Hi everyone,
I was at this online conference and again I was deeply impressed by the way it was conducted. We were guided through the conference by our helpful moderators. As the conference went along, I could see how useful these plataforms for chats and presentations are. Now I see the importance of the word "becoming" in this course. You are always learning, in the process of "Becoming a Webhead."
Cheers
Jose

WOW!!! It was an unbelievable event! I've never taken part in that kind of session. I was impressed immensely, though, the way to reach it wasn't an easy one. The newbee might feel a bit frustrated when no one around to help.
